Ruins of Alph headcanon thing

So, for a while, I’ve been pondering on the Ruins and the Unown. And, I’ve started stringing together some messy headcanons and thoughts.

So far, the Unown have been in every region but Hoenn and Unova. The Unown have some sort of presence, importance, something to make them reappear. They began in the Ruins of Alph, went to the Sevii Islands, and came back in Solaceon Ruins. But.. why? What’s their significance? 

More so, why are they in Sinnoh? And Kanto? With Kanto’s closeness to Johto, you can shrug it off. While Sinnoh is farther away… there is one possibility.

Arceus is the Alpha Pokemon, supposed creator of the universe. Unown mostly inhabit the Ruins of Alph. And Unown are obviously the ancient alphabet of the world. And we have a connection.

Perhaps the Ruins were one of the first things inhabited, for pokemon to live in safely? The Unown helped them and the first trainers communicate and spell out their language.

And thus, they were able to communicate.

Yet, Hoenn doesn’t have this - it has braille, which relates to the Regis. Which means Hoenn, which was made by Groudon and Kyogre, must have a different sort of way than Arceus. Perhaps Arceus wanted those two, and Rayquaza, to hold over that one region. Who knows.

Unova, we’ve got Reshiram/Zekrom and this whole long myth.

While Arceus created the universe, maybe it only created Sinnoh, Kanto, and Johto.

…I have no idea where I’m going with this. But the Unown are lackluster in the games, and I know there has to be more to them. I am firm in that belief. There’s got to be more.

I am actually trying to tie all the loose ends together in my Pokemon RPG! Here is my theory:

The Unowns were created by Arceus. They were made as basically messengers for His (its?) word to be spread to other Pokemon. However, the Unown had a mind of their own and also hungered to communicate with humans, and so they taught the humans their language— that is, the modern alphabet.

Arceus became angered by this and sealed the Unown into their own pocket universe (see: third Pokemon movie) and unable to access the normal world. Humans built temples to honor their now absent mentors (Ruins of Alph, etc). Although Arceus was angry at the time, he soon saw how Pokemon and humans worked together in harmony and His temper was softened.

Years in the future (but not many), the Brass Tower of Ecruteak was struck by lightning and burned to the ground with 3 Pokemon inside. Ho-oh revived these Pokemon as the Legendary Beasts now known as Raikou, Entei, and Suicune. Seeing new creatures without a purpose, Arceus broke the seal binding the Unown to their pocket dimension and designated the Legendary Beasts as guardians to his curious messengers to make sure they would not again misbehave.
